Well I'd probably be posting a lot more if I didn't have to log
in a dozen times before I could stay logged in long enough to
post something!!!!! Still the only site I'm having a problem with!!!!!
I like the idea of using LED's instead of incandescent bulb as
long as I didn't have to convert to 12v.
Looking at United Pacific's catalog I don't see any 6v units nor
can I find any pricing in their catalog.
But after thinking about it for a minute, the 12v led lights
would work on a 6v system if you simply placed a dropping
resistor in series with them when you wired them up. The value
I would have to do some experimenting with but resistors are as
cheap as dirt.

I don't recommend the dropping resistor, you're likely to get much dimmer lights if it does work. Best to look for 6V units.
