So, I cannot get the horn to work on my '52 with 12v conversion. I assumed the original wiring scheme that does NOT include a horn relay would work just fine especially due to the 12v conversion (less amperage). But, it does not work. The cheap as heck horn contacts that you get from the vendors relies on a light gauge spring to conduct the entire current required by the horn. The resultant load produced heat ruins the spring to the point it collapses and no longer allows the contacts to make contact to the mast bearing.

So, I am adding a relay to the circuit AND am going to find a better spring for the horn contact mouse trap. Re-pop parts...ugh! The original has a heavy wire inside the spring connecting the two contacts.
