I'd also be curious about Hammerite for at least the frame. This Summer I'm planning the restoration process but section by section. I don't have the room to do a full dismantling. I would take the frame down and have it chemically stripped but I'll have to work with sand blasting and wire brush. That won't cut it for the real nooks and cranneys where rust never sleeps. The maintainance guys down at the harbor sware by Hammerite to 'incapsulate' the rust. They say the stuff is bullet proof on rustable metal with a constant bath of salt spray.
