I've recently painted my 52' 3100 original steering wheel and I'm now in the process of re-installing it. After putting the horn plate and washer on, the nut won't tighten down flush with the center threads. I didn't take a picture before I removed the wheel, but I'm pretty sure the nut was down pass the end of the center post. What am I doing wrong?
