Got this installed yesterday, mounted on a thin piece of aluminum sheet metal. It is putting out 6.04 volts pretty consistent to my electric temp guage. Checked the white ceramic resister going to the fuel guage and it was supplying 7.24 volts. The temp guage supply was getting pretty toasty on the aluminum strip mounted to the dash. Not so hot you couldn't touch it but hotter than I expected. Would this be normal to heat up like this. What's the current draw on temp guage? Thanks. Jim Also put some lipstick on my pig.
