Yes, the tube in the front is the fuel pickup tube. It runs a little more than halfway to the back and is spot welded to the bottom of the tank with no filter of any kind. We make new tanks and brackets for our in shop use only, none for sale. On higher horsepower engines we change out the 5/16 tube to a 3/8. I have internal pictures of the tanks before the last end is welded on. Will send one if you PM me.
