Got the body and paint done from the shop on my rig...but this owner is so busy my truck would sit out there for days and not be worked on...a whole year so i pulled it out of there after paying him for work uncompleted.

Item 1. finally got a new rear bumper...before it had a bardan bumper which wrappped around the sides of the bed...pretty easy to understand how it bolts on. And a lot more stronger too.

However the body man got me a new chrome after market bumper...and supplied me with the brackets.

And heres the question: the brackets are solid steel and heavy (taiwan stuff). As oppose to other brackets that seem to be stamped out version and lighter. Which are more suitable? Im thinking since the solid heavier bracket which are about 3/8 inch thick should be better as it would be stronger???
