Brad, The only clue I have is an ad for this shorty stating early Corvette but? I have seen pics of 53-54 Vettes with these used with a different top, but cannot see the bottom side. For years the Vette collectors would buy up the truck units to use. 53 Vettes used three flame arrestor type, next year two like these, but feeding the three carbs.
Also I believe the dark decal is an earlier version.
