Dennis - Either one will work for you. I used the vulcanized one on my 46 because It's one piece, like a big rubber band. With the weatherstrip type you have to make sure you don't cut it too short or you'll have a gap where it joins together. These things tend to move around and shrink over time so you have to make sure to cut it long and work it around so it fits.
With the vulcanized one you don't have these problems. Mine fit perfectly, I don't know if it leaks cus we don't get much rain here and if it did rain I wouldn't be driving my 46 anyway
