I'm thinking of getting the Harbor F. metal cutting band saw. Lots of folks have posted Youtubes about them and seem to like them.
One guy is applying cutting fluid every once in a while.
I always thought that cutting fluid was mainly to keep the tool from overheating when using a lathe. A slow moving hacksaw toothed bandsaw blade wouldn't overheat. Is cutting fluid necessary?
