55shaker 'Bolter 5 Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 899 80 miles west of Joliet IL.	Capan, that's how one wire alternators work. When you first start the engine you have to rev it a bit to excite the alternator to make it start charging. Brian 1955.2 3100 Truck The older I get the more dangerous I am!!!!!
