When I wire the + battery to the terminal directly behind the + side as shown on face of ammeter, the meter reads discharge when running. When I wire the the battery to the terminal directly behind the - side as shown on face of ammeter, the meter correctly reads charge when running.
????????I don't get it??????? I allways thought that + terminal is on positive side of ammeter and the - terminal is on negative side of ammeter. Is it possible my ammeter's terminals are switched? Unfortunalety, my aftermarket ammeter is 20+ yrs old and I have no instructions/model /etc. :confused: :confused:
