It is not a bullet. It is a short post with a plate on top if that makes sense. Looks almost like a mushroom but with a flat top. Sorry for my horrible description, I am a beancounter
Identical connector on the engine's temp sending unit... (remember 1970 250 engine) so the sending unit is on top of thermostat housing.
I am planning to run on 12 volts. I hooked up the 12 volts just for a sec, hope I did not damamge it. I will get a reducer.
