Both of my cheapo HF tap/die sets (10+ years old - used mostly to "chase"/clean threads) came with a screw pitch gauge.

SAE set
metro set

Their SAE/metric combo sets both come with screw pitch gauges. This style set does not come with a thread gauge.

In case anyone is interested in cheapo tools, I found the tap/die angles to be inadequate, but these tap handles work well and I'll look for this ratchet style handle on sale.
