Speaking of fast drying paint, Rustoleum's high temp paints dry super fast and now come in Satin (same as semi-gloss). But, beware, it takes more passes (than conventional Rustoleum) to get the paint on thick enough.
I use it between lapped sheet metal prior to plug (spot) welding to hopefully slow down the future rust.
