I am thinking Rustoleum recommends acetone as I recently talked to their customer service people about cleaning or reducing their automotive line of paints ..... they recommended not to reduce it and if I had to, use acetone .... they make so many kinds of paint though I could be wrong .... their technical people were knowledgeable and helpful .... let us know what you use so we can know whether or not it worked well
