Thanks to both of you for the info. I am replacing my old style 235 with a newer 261, (1959 chev) so my intake manifold is different. I looked at the old intake and sure enough, there is a raised boss ahead of the carb that has 2 small holes in it. There used to be a thin metal sleeve type bracket that went around the manifold but is rusted out. Does this have anything to do with the horn mounting? Also, can I put the intake from the old style 235 on to the 261?
