You also might want to change the cam,alot of 305s had bad cams from the factory.My buddy just had the cam in his 305 go bad,so we put in a comp cam that was only a little better than stock with hyd. lifters.It's in a 50 AD now it's running better than it has in years.I wish I knew the cam # but he's got the cam card in his file.
