Perhaps I should have mentioned it...The rear is as quiet as a church mouse... if the preload is gone shouldn't the rear be howling? Yes the pumpkin comes out from the front,The tag on the door jamb identified the rear axle as (GE6 or G86) no spin. The yoke is so sloppy it appears that the splines on the yoke are jumping the splines on the pinion starting from a stop with a load but not always, just sometimes. And again, it appears that there's a seperate nut for the preload... Thanks for repling...
