I decided to go for it and ordered my windshield and gasket today. Was debating whether I wanted to tackle this as I have never even seen it done. I have to though.The glass is badly stained all around the edges.It even has spots where the interior has bubbled.The rubber has to be replaced anyhow as it is badly cracked.Past owner gobbed silicone all over it to keep the rain out.
Any pointers? special tools I need? I looked on you-tube but couldn't find a video of someone doing this. How hard is it? Can an amateur pull it off? Any help would be appreciated.---Jack
