Sounds like you may have been bamboozled into thinking those Guide 5 3/4" lamps are correct by a slippery ebay seller, as GM part # 929890 {in your pictures} is actually a GM part # listed for the 1939 Chevy cars & trucks. The boxes & the lamps you pictured are definitely not correct for the 1947-1955.1 A.D trucks and the lamps are not correct for the 1939 Chevy. Anyone can cram a set of lamps in an old box & claim they are NOS & correct | | |
