Mine is a '48 but it had a post on the bumper attaching frame for a fog light. The top of the post had a concave ball-joint type of shape. I don't know if it was stock.
I bought fog lamp and casing which would mate with the post at a Great Falls swap meet. The 6-volt lamp was burned out but I installed it just for the look.
When I went to 12-volt, I found a 12-volt, 5 1/4" lamp that would fit the casing perfectly! NAPA #4412A. Here are pictures of the lamp and the light pattern. I did lower the aim a bit.
