I for one would never cast stones to wart a fellow truck enthusiast for A, running out of gas or B, not having a working fuel gauge. Ahhh, guilty as charged!!!!
I ran out out fuel with the bed of the truck loaded with family and friends seated on hay bails at the start of the local neighborhood parade. How embarrassing to have the local Girl Scout troupe and the old geezer in the 52 Ford convertible with Miss Dayton riding high in the back, have to go around you with a sneer as you lose your place in line. Fortunately there was a gas can near by and I did make the event! Still I caught holy heck from my co-participants!
