I can only offer a little experence I have had with LEDs. A LED is a Light Emitting Diode. There is no filament to burn out thats why (in my opinion) there so great. They will put out almost 100% more light than a filament style bulb. (seems hard to believe I know), run under water etc,etc,. They need no reflective surface either. The one thing I have found out though is that they need a good good ground. If they don't they will fail. (only happened to me once on an old trailer) I just put a set into my two ton and they are bright and sharp! I recomend them if your on the fence about it. While they aren't original they really work well. I don't claim to be an electrical master I just know what works for me!
