Yes and no. You would need to change engine mounts from front of engine to side mounts. may need to modify or remove the cross member where the clutch housing mounts to now. A rear transmission mount would also need to be made.
Make sure you get the mounting plate and starter from the donor vehicle. It mounts to the 235, then the Powerglide mounts to it. Powerglide also uses a oil cooler on it. You'll also want the throttle linkage to transmission for the kick down.
I'd like to find one with even the gearshift off the steering column. I think it could be modified to fit the truck steering column.
