We have the Borg Warner OD transmission with the cable and mechanical solenoid. I think it's an R-13. I have the lever on the side of the case wired back as to keep it from going into neutral by itself. Therefore I use it as a 3 speed with no OD. They seem complicated when being used. The stick as I mentioned is in the wrong place. Worst of all is NOBODY wants to work on it in my area. Nada from transmission shops. They won't touch it.
Which three speed stick transmission would bolt up directly to my 235? I would just need to change the location of the hole for the stick shift. I would have the clutch replaced and the tranny bought rebuilt. I'll just keep the speed to 45-50 and enjoy the ride..Agreed Steve
