hello,
last summer i purchased a 1954 chevy 4400 stake 1.5 ton, or at least i was told. i have tried to research this truck but come up slim, but looks like the truck may be a 2 ton since it says gross weight is 16,000 lbs. the truck is purely canadian. so i was hoping someone could help me decipher the serial numbers and engine code.
heres the door placard numbers (having issues with my photobucket account)
model: 1543
serial: 4154300358
engine: T755478 (matches stamping on engine block)
body serial: 34

Any help would be greatly appreciated if someone can completely decipher these numbers.
