Hy Elup, if your front axle hub cap is an eight sided screw in type then it is a 1 1/2 ton, if the hub cap is bolted to the hub then it is a 2 ton (or someone has changed the axle). There are no comparable American models for some Canadian trucks, our 16 series (2 1/2 ton) and 17 series (3 ton) have no comparable American models as American Chevrolet trucks stop at 2 tons. Canadian 2 1/2 and 3 ton trucks are named Maple Leaf trucks, hope that helps.
Well in the front the center cap has 4 bolts holding it down. In the rear the center cap has 5 bolts holding it.
