folks have replaced the TF dash, just a lot of work and needs a lot of care, the top mounting flange of the dash is the lip that mounts the windshield .... there's a pile of spot welds there that have to be carefully drilled out, and a bracket below that reinforces the dash where the steering column mounts that's welded to the firewall
