I bought new floor seal and flange for the steering column of 57 3100. New ones have a larger hole than the steering column diameter. I understand it needs to be slightly bigger to be able to slide the column through the seal, but there is probably 1/8" to 1/4" of space completely around the stock column that is not sealed. Am I missing something here??
