Yes, it will probably look goofy, but to me so will a stretched cab. I think they look best in original proportions, or well thought out chopped proportions. It's your truck, and you'll get 1000 different opinions on whether or not it will look good. Look at pics of other trucks until you're tired of it to decide what you like.
