I don't beleive there's a re;ay on that year truck, nor are the headlamps fused through the fusebox. The headlamp switch has a built in circuit breaker for the headlamps. Try checking the connections at the switch, could be a loose connection. Also check the wireing at the lamps themselves. There is a ground wire up there, could be that, too.
