It would be pretty hard to install a heat rizor in a manifold without one. The 292 & 250 manifolds are interchangeable. The heavy duty manifolds that are used on the 1 1/2 ton & larger 292 trucks did not come with one. It has a 2 1/2 in. opening & points straight down. Is a new one available with the heat rizor in it?
