Lots of examples on youtube Jim, sand with heat and cold by
freezing with water. All I've seen it done on is on small
diameter stuff. The smaller the better like brake and fuel
lines or hand bending conduct. Gets tricky when you get over
one or one and a quarter inch thin walled stuff.
I've tried the sand thing in years past and found it cumbersome,
time consuming and I didn't end up with decent bends on tube
the size of exhaust tubing. Give it a try and let us know how
it works.
In the mean time I'm stickin' with compression dies in
a hydraulic bender for the big stuff.
