| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | If you are asking about shorting a stock box and you are asking about a 1955 truck, then the easiest way would be to install a 1958-59 box. They are much shorter because they used a dished steering wheel.
I would need to measure some of my cores to tell you exactly how much, if you are interested.
