| Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,819 | Several years ago my boss and I tried to rebuild the power divider of an Eaton 15-speed final drive in a 68 Freightliner. The input flange had a 2 3/8" hex nut. We broke two 3/4" drive flex handles and finally had to split the nut with a chisel. The assembly torque on that nut was 1200 ft/lbs.! Jerry
