Hi big block and cooter,,,,I think the worst part about this whole deal is the lock plate and retainer "c" clip. It CAN be removed without the special tool,if you have a extra set of hands standing around watching you,,but i just figured id probably use the tool again somewhere down the road so i went ahead and bought it.
Once you get past that,,its a breeze,,,,,,,,,,,
