My sixty four has a 305 V8 from an 88 caprice. I have been looking for an original cluster with gages since I want to keep the interior as original as possible. Should I expect any problems hooking everything up from the instrument cluster to the 305? The current instrument cluster on the truck ,with idiot lights, was not hooked up when I bought the truck. My second question is the price for a cluster with gages (no clock or tach in it). I have located one at a local salvage yard and they want $50 for it, with no guarentee that it will work.
