1946 Chevy 1/2ton

Six years ago I was told that my partners wife's brother had a Chevy pickup that he fixed up for his wife and that she did not want to drive it ant he might want to sell it so I drove down to CT to look at it. I was told it was not for sale but I could make an offer. After looking it over and based on what I saw I made an offer. The husband said he thought the offer was fair but it was his wife's truck an she would let me know. A week went by and I was told that they sold it for $1,000 more than I offered. Now six years later I was at my partners wake and saw this women that I thought I knew. When I approached her she said I had looked at her Chevy truck. I asked if she still had it she said yes and I asked if it was for sale . To shorten the story it seems when I left the son told his mother she should get more money for it but what was given back to me was that they sold it.

The Tru ck is solid with a lot of new parts on it. The brakes need replacing and the paint is a 20 footer. It will run but has a broken rubber gas line. Will be a great driver

That's a very nice looking '46 and what I would call a great find. We would love to see a few more pics (bed, interior, engine etc). Any additional information you can provide us on your truck you will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for posting.

John
