PO rebuilt and installed SB 350 and TH350 tranny. He also upgraded to front disc brakes, installed sheet metal bed, and gave it the two tone paint job. It’s my daily driver and I dug in adding a few new parts, like side mirrors, interior sun visors, steering wheel, heat shield, sound proofing, and new Rebel wiring harness and fuse panel. I plan to paint it a medium to dark brown (maybe a hint of orange) with everything else black. That’s why I purchased an old OEM bench seat and recovered it in brown. In 2019 I hired Beard Brothers, in Peru, Illinois, to install A/C, P.S., Tilt column, and new exhaust. Last week I installed Lumen LED headlights.

This is my first project, and likely last, so I’m learning a lot before tackling main body. I already did bumpers three times to get them respectable. 1957 Chevy 3200Daily DriverPS, A/C, Tilt column, Rebuilt 350, Rebuilt TH350, Reupholstered Bench Seat, sound proof/insulated, LED headlights/taillights/backup lights/interior courtesy lights. Then I moved on to tailgate, inside and outside of box, and fenders. I’ll remove the box in the Spring to paint the front of it while I’m doing cab and front clip. Too cold now in Illinois to paint in portable garage. Might get to do some hood and door alignment in my house garage during the winter. 1957 Chevy 3200Daily DriverPS, A/C, Tilt column, Rebuilt 350, Rebuilt TH350, Reupholstered Bench Seat, sound proof/insulated, LED headlights/taillights/backup lights/interior courtesy lights.
