1946 Chevrolet half ton original

The truck is an older restoration. A 20 footer. Sorry for all the foliage in the picture but I was trying to be artsy.
I've rebuilt the brakes, redone the interior, added vintage turn signals, and had an overdrive added to the torque tube (from Lloyd Young).
The fire extinguisher picture shows how I built a box to inset it in the passenger kick panel.
The last picture shows the OD added to the torque tube.

Nice truck. Wife and I always loved the 46. We looked for one about 4 years ago but couldn't find what we like.

Hello Dave,

What a nice looking '46. You must not have had it parked there very long because the birds hadn't yet zeroed in on it. grin Great idea to post the pic of your overdrive/torque tube set up. I would have guessed that the OD would have been right off the transmission.
