I was dry without a panel truck for three years ("wife therapy"). Now I am back in the AAAA - Anonymous Antique Automobile Addicts.

After working my wife for about half a year, I found a 1951 Chevy Half-Ton Panel on Craigslist in June 2009, free delivery included. It rolls, steers, and the engine turns over. It has the usual rust on the floor and the lower quarter panels. The frame and wooden floor are in good condition.

The sides still say "Don's Upholstery". Since the company (founded in 1951) is still in business, I will send them a few pictures and see if they have some old pictures of the panel for me.

For now "Bubba" moved into the back of the garage on jackstands until the house is renovated.

Here some pictures:

Andy,

Do you still have the '47 1-Ton Panel? I'm working on your Gallery page now.
