Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 306 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 306 | I replaced the 216 in my 53 3\4 ton with a 54 235. I hooked up the throttle linkage using the same two rods that were on the 216. it is about an inch too long. both rods have been modified. does anyone have the lengths of the two rods? is the pivot different for a 235?
thanks rolf

Remove throttle linkage and take that amount out of the small side of linkage, weld the two pieces back together and that will take care of your problem. I had same situation last week and working fine now. Good Luck. Caution: be sure you have the curved piece at the right angle b 4 welding. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 306 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 306 |
