Hey All

Im adding a lot of aux things to my 46 2 ton
5 cab lights
rear spot light
2nd tail light
bed lights
heater motors
turn signals

the truck is 12v with a generator with external voltage regulator.

Obviously having 1 fuse for the whole thing is kind of crazy (the one in the light switch).

Should I be running an aux fuse box and keep the original wiring harness or go full monty and buy a completely different harness.

I would prefer to use cloth wire just to keep that vintage look, the hot rod wiring harnesses out there arent that.

Anybody out there have any solutions? What are people running in their old trucks?

any help would be fantastic

thanks in advance

you can use an original type harness and add a fuse panel, available from any FLAPS, that is powered with a 10 ga wire direct from the ammeter, battery, or regulator .... most of that stuff doesn't add any real load, the lights are really already taken care of
