I'm new to Bolters, sad to say - what a group to join! WOW is all I can think of. So with that said, I noted a reference to Bolter Groups(by states). So is there a Bolter group for Pa/Md/etc? and if so, how do I make contact. I'm looking to track the history of my 41' half ton, sold in the Carlisle Pa area, perhaps at the Carlisle Fall FleaMarket(has a windshield sticker)around 1978. Stored in 1980, it is virtually unchanged from that point in time. Hoping someone will recognize it and contact me.

Sir, I'm an ODSS member but have not been to Carlisle. Where are you located? ODSS members meet often and usually the most meet up annually late Sep at the ATHS Winchester, VA event. I can't help you with the history of your 41' half ton, but perhaps other ODSS folks could provide you some leads. Thankd Farmone. V/R, Nick Cavallaro, Bel Air, MD

Thank you for responding. I am in Ohio, but grew up near Richmond, and still visit often. I'd love to attend your Winchester event. I'm looking for a forum to post a picture of the truck, which is virtually unchanged since 1978, hoping someone might recognize it and contact me with some of it's history. That's a long shot I know, but not many options.

Welcome to Stovebolt.com, Farmone!

As NJC says, we do get a good turnout each year at Winchester -- We hope to see you before then, though. Our next events occur over the winter (Our "Winter Classic" junk yard outing in the dead of Winter) and the Spring Homecoming here at Stovebolt HQ/Ground Zero in April. We have a few Bolters in PA ... AmtrakJoe, for one. Hopefully he will stop by and chime in on this thread. He's in the Philly area.

Again, welcome!

Hello Farmone, It's Amtrakjoe. John mentioned I might chime in. Anyway, I am in the Bucks County Pennsylvania area, a bit north of Philadelphia. Sorry, I don't recognize your truck. My first visit to Carlisle was in about 1987 or so. A rainy Spring Carlisle where a few cars actually slipped down the hill from the mud. Anyway, welcome to Stovebolt. Get lost in there forums and it will make a junkie out of you. Best, Joe
