I have searched and the only results I get is a bunch of beating around the bush about the old style seal or trying to upgrade to a modern lip seal

Does anyone have a part number for the front wheel seal?

I can't find any online catalog that goes back that far.

In these cases your best bet is to take it to a 'good' auto parts store and let them locate it by dimension. I utilize my local Carquest just up the road in Marlin, TX for example. The same folks have been running it for 40+ years. I can take just about anything in there - if they can measure it, they can usually get me a replacement. And if it's a lip seal they almost always even have it in stock. I know 'good' auto parts stores are fewer and much further between these days, but I'll bet you can find one. Good luck.

Thank you sir.

I wish the big bolt section had a sticky where we could post confirmed, tried and true part numbers for the Big Bolts.

I'll soon have many brake part #'s confirmed.

I have a 46 2-ton as well. I pulled the seal and took it to a bearing supplier in town. They measured and pulled two of them off the shelf. I think they were less than $30 for both seals.

If those numbers above don't work let us know. I may still have the boxes that the seals came in. Would just take me a while to dig down to find them....

Hey not to discredit 3B, but if you happen upon those boxes post up the number. The more information on the board the better!

We might actually come up with 2 seals that work for this application and increase the availability of the part.

On a side note I went thru some of my old favorites I had saved for 41-46 trucks and many of the sites are no longer available. This one is hopefully not going anywhere, I'm all for keeping the old iron on the road. Let's build some tech for the future!
