I have a newly rebuilt 235 and want to go with a different combo than fenton manifold, fenton headers or offy fenton combo. I saw a edelbrock 94 carb on a edelbrock manifold but didn't get the model number. Hoping to bypass the tab issue on the headers as well. any thoughts would be a great help.

Well I am not an expert match maker however I went with the Fenton set on my 235. I am sure you will get many opinions here but you can try here Clifford Performance. I do not have any experience with Clifford but seen some at car shows on the 235.

I personally would make a call to Tom Langdon at Stovebolt Engine Co. and Patrick Sr. at Patricks and see what they say. Everytime I have talked to them I have received very good options and information.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the tab issue". I have an edelbrock dual intake I can't use. (it really interferes with the fenton headers that I am using.) I think maybe the Clifford headers would fit, but I don't know for sure. From what I have heard the Clifford 4 barrel intake with a 390 holley runs very well. There are several combinations, you could even get custom headers made, I really like the look of the edelbrock manifold if it only fit...

Tiny thanks for the info and laying it out straight. I called Patrick's and was very pleased w/ their advice and reminding me that if it's not broke don't try to reinvent it. they stand behind Fenton and so will I. Thank you again for your reply and your pic's are first class.
