I was looking inside the heater box to check the core and found there was not one there, at least I don't think. There are copper tubes running up and down like bars on a cage and they form a square box like frame. When I ran my hand inside to see if they were hot I scraped the back of my hand trying to get out of there because they were good and hot.Was this some kind of heater core from the factory > The dash control is for a deluxe heater. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | no that's not factory, it should be an ordinary heater core like a mini-radiator, on yours someone took the DIY cheap way out when the core sprung a leak, see pics in the 'heater pics' link below
