I have been reading about airbags for my 65 chevy. I'm on a limited budget so I figure if I can either find a kit for just the front or if you guys can post some links or tell me what I need for just the front I'd piece together my own kit. I know bags,lines,compressor, tank but will any bag work or does it have to be a certain size cause I found firestone bags for 80 a piece and then I need this metal plate that makes it so I can mount the bags onto my stock control arms.as for lines,compressor and tank Idk yet.I'm asking now so I can a head start on this im going to be doing lots of searching, googling and reading up on it.for right now I'm cutting the coils but my ultimate goal is to get airbags under it not just for lowering it but for the handling and comfort.links would be greatly appreciated if you just so happen to know off the top of you're head a BUDGET front airbag kit for a 65 chevy truck please post it.

I like to help people. I just wonder how much searching you did on your own prior to asking for help. There are a bazillion build threads on these truck forums that show how they install airbags and tell where they got them from.

Did you look at the 2nd link? He has bags up front. I think maybe you only looked at the first link.

Im going to go with AirLift Dominator D2600 bags which are 72 each and I have heard good things about them. fill free to check them out and tell me what you think of them.you cant beat them as far as price goes but how they perform may be another story.any info you can tell me about bagging the front will be helpful.

$72 x 2 = $144 + $79 = $223 + $39 = $262.

You can buy drop coils for about $100 (You said you're on a budget)

Don't forget you'll have to buy drop shocks also.

And you'll need to buy a little air compressor for when the air leaks out of the bags when you're not near any place that has a compressor available (count on that happening).

The bags are a further mod.I already cut the coils which will hold me off for awhile
