Have removed the widow, and now need a replacement. Local shop wants $145.00. May have to find another local place. Some of the classic truck parts shops have windows for $29 - $37 dollars. Ecklers has a "replacement" window for $99.
Am not looking for show quality. Just want a window that fits, doesn't leak, whistle, or yellow. Any suggestions of universal vice replacement or one parts place over another?

Check with a few different shops, if they are cutting laminated, which is what you have, it shouldn't be more than $50.00.

The $99 door glass pieces at Ecklers include the metal "runner" channel/bar attached to the glass (and are assembled for left door use or right door use).
The less expensive door glass pieces at Ecklers ($38-$50, depending on color) are just the glass (and can be used on either side, with your runner channel/bar).
You will need to clean your metal channel and use glass-setting tape (or modern equivalent) to set the glass into your runner channel/bar.

Checked the local establishments. Local glass places would either have to order or do not cut laminate glass. One other place I found would charge $83 just for the glass & $30 to put in the channel.
At this point, am gonna order glass and tape from a classic parts place and tackle this project myself.
